The new tab, panel by panel
Your new tab is a full dashboard. The top header stays constant; the large area below it swaps between panels.
The header
- Left - the InTab logo and the info bar: your local time, date, and weather. Add more cities and a forecast from here (see World clock & weather).
- Center - the panel switcher: AI, Tabs, Bookmarks, History, Tools, and More (settings).
- Right - a Settings button (opens the full options page), a tour/help button that replays onboarding, a theme toggle (dark ↔ light), and your account avatar with a plan badge (FREE, PRO, MAX, or Early Supporter for lifetime licenses).
The panels
- AI - a multi-model chat that runs on your own ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity accounts, side by side. See The multi-model AI chat.
- Tabs - save the current window as a session, restore it later, and organize or import tab lists. See Save, restore & import sessions.
- Bookmarks - a fast library over your browser bookmarks with views, filters, and a duplicate finder. See The bookmarks panel.
- History - search your browsing history and see private, on-device time analytics. See History & time insights.
- Tools - the hub of mini-tools: tasks, notes, calculator, timers, a generator, and the camera Mirror. See Tasks, notes, timers & more.
- More - the in-page settings catalog (also searchable).
Moving around fast
- Click a pill, or press its letter: C (AI), T (Tabs), B (Bookmarks), H (History), A (Tools), S (Settings).
- Left/Right arrows cycle through panels.
- Cmd/Ctrl + K opens the command palette to jump anywhere or run an action.
Hide panels you don’t use
Right-click the panel switcher (or open Settings → Workspace) to show or hide individual panels. The Tools hub is hidden from the bar by default - reach it with A, the palette, or by re-enabling it here. At least one panel must stay visible.
New here? The tour button in the header replays the full 10-step walkthrough any time.
