Grammar check & autocomplete

InTab can check your writing and finish your sentences as you type, in any editable field on the web.

Live grammar check

When enabled (Settings → Writer → Grammar check), InTab underlines issues as you type - spelling, agreement, tense, punctuation, capitalization, spacing, clarity, and more - across 31 languages, auto-detected. Click an underline to accept the fix.

Two shortcuts speed this up:

• Alt + A - fix all issues at once.
• double-tap Shift - fix the nearest issue.

If detection guesses the wrong language on a page, you can pin the language it should assume.

Autocomplete (ghost text)

Autocomplete is off by default. Turn it on in Settings → Writer → Autocomplete to get grey inline suggestions as you write. Press Tab to accept a suggestion, or just keep typing to ignore it.

Write with AI

Double-click an empty editable field to open a small compose bar - describe what you want (“a polite reply declining the meeting”) and InTab drafts it in place.

Where it runs

The grammar checker and autocomplete respect the same per-site allow/block lists as the selection popover. Manage them in Settings → Writer → Where it appears, or disable per-site from the popover menu. See The selection popover.
