Ambient noise mixer

InTab includes a built-in ambient-sound mixer to help you focus or relax - no extra tab or website needed.

The sounds

Six looping sounds are available: forest, birds, coffee shop, river, wind (windstorm), and white noise.

Mixing

Rather than one sound at a time, you layer several and set each one’s volume independently, with a master volume over the top. Found a blend you like - say coffee shop plus a gentle river? Save it as a named mix and re-apply it in one tap later.

Playing it

• Press N on the new tab to toggle noise on and off.
• Toggle it from the command palette, or
• Enable it and pick sounds in Settings → Workspace → Ambient noise.

Playback runs in the background, so it keeps going as you move between tabs.
